Homemade Pico de Gallo
This dish has become a standard staple in our home! It is loaded with vitamins and pairs well with many dishes and is that special topping that adds an abundance of flavor. We love our Pico de Gallo!
I always like to give credit where credit belongs. I cannot say that this dish is my own. If my memory serves me right, I learned this from my husband's niece, Laura. I believe we were at a gathering on the creek when she was making it in the kitchen and it smelled and looked so good to me. I got the recipe from her and have been making it ever since! I have tweaked it a little, but not much. Love love our Pico! We put it on scrambled eggs, omelet, salads, chicken breasts, tacos, fajitas, blue corn tortilla chips. etc... As my grandson would say, deeeeelicious!!!

½ Medium Organic Yellow Bell Pepper Chopped

2 Stalks Organic Green Onion Chopped
1 Handful Organic Cilantro Chopped

Organic Roasted Cumin Powder (Must be roasted as it makes a difference in taste!)
Organic Garlic Powder
Just a Tip: Organic is optional. I prefer it because I am highly susceptible to pesticides. And avoiding pesticides is the whole purpose of choosing organic products. There are some products that I don’t concern myself too much with being organic, such as onions and lemons. But I choose organic as often as possible for not only the healthier, cleaner reasons, but I believe you can definitely taste the difference.
Place all ingredients in a bowl. Season to taste. Squeeze lemon over ingredients. Stir and enJOY!
Thanks and God Bless!
