Another finishing touch is the floor selection.  And I am going to tell you right away that I am NOT a carpet person.  LOL!  I love wood and tile. However, since we are on the water, I think real wood floors would not be the best choice.

So, we chose a laminate flooring that has a beautiful dark wood presence.  It is a new product that is highly water resistant and easy to keep clean.  It is perfect for a home on the water. And, it really compliments the colors on the walls and gives the room a clean, crisp, and comfortable feel.  I LOVE IT!
